Prehistoric Richfield

Over 50,000 years ago Richfield Springs was a massively different town than the quaint (smelly) town you know and love today. There has been numerous recent findings of men and women and the various things they once did.

One thing that may come as a grand shock to most people is what these ancient people used to eat. Richfieldian Scientists have discovered that our very ancestors used to hunt Dinosaurs and Mermaids. You read that right...DINOSAURS and MERMAIDS! If you notice along all the roads are gigantic divets, most think they are for drainage but us Richfield natives know it's the paths these exceptional hunters used to drag their massive Dino meals home. We remember our Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great-Great Grandparents telling us far fetched tales of how delicious these beasts were. As for the Mermaids, they were viciously trapped in the lake nearby. Mermaids were a much more dangerous creature to be caught. Many men lost their lives to the Mermaids seductive and enchanting songs luring them to their death. As a trophy for being able to catch these savage beasts they would take a scale off their tails and make bracelets out of them. As dangerous as they were to catch they were equally tasty and left a delightful glitter all around the homes of these brave hunters. Naturally taunting lesser men to seek one out themselves, which usually ended badly.

Needless to say the Prehistoric days of Richfield were rather intense, dangerous and down right exciting!

When you find this cache be sure to take a Dinosaur Bone or Mermaid Scale bracelet as your very own trophy for venturing on this incredible journey. Leave something if you want.

**No Dinosaurs or Mermaids were harmed in the making of this cache**

**This is a very high muggle area during the day so use extreme stealth** Congrats to bethcole on the FTF!!!!
