This cache is in memory of our late Siamese cat Zéphyr (pronounced Zayfeer) who loved to travel and walk on a leash. He visited many campgrounds and RV parks from Prince Edward Island to British Columbia and from Florida to Washington. He helped us decide on Victoria, British Columbia, as an ideal retirement place. We followed his advice and moved in 2007. Unfortunately, he left us in 2008, well before we started our geocaching days.
The cache is a camo’ed lock and lock a step or two off the service road.
There is a small parking lot at N48 30.128 W123 22.332 and an official Saanich trailhead very close to that. Don't walk on private property and enjoy the view.
