Congratulations to Stick People for FTF!

This is part of a series of 16 geocaches placed near outdoor art installations. The geocaches will only be available until mid-October. There will also be a bonus geocache for those who find all 16 in the series (look for a number between 1 and 99 on the logbook or container). For other geocaches in the series, see the bookmark list UCA 2016.

The geocache is hidden at N45 18.ABC W 064 25.DEF. Go to the posted coordinates and find text. Use it to answer the following questions:

  1. How many lines of text are on the rock? Call this "A".
  2. How many letters in the last word on the sixth line? Call this "B".
  3. How many words are there on the first line? Call this "C".
  4. How many words on the fourth line? Call this "D".
  5. How many times does the word "weasel" appear in the text? Call this "E".
  6. How many times does the word "geocache" appear in the text? Call this "F".

As a partial check, A+B+C=17 and D+E+F=5.

Stop 11: "Going Going" by Andrew Maize

Artist's description of the installation:"“We are the first generations born into a new and unprecedented age — the age of ecocide. To name it thus is not to presume the outcome, but simply to describe a process which is underway. The ground, the sea, the air, the elemental backdrops to our existence — all these our economics has taken for granted, to be used as a bottomless tip, endlessly able to dilute and disperse the tailings of our extraction, production, consumption...Philip Larkin gave voice to this attitude, and the creeping, worrying end of it in his poem Going, Going” - The Dark Mountain Manifesto"
