A long-forgotten, forlorn, artefact was abandoned deep in these woods a millenium ago by off-worlders. Only stout, intrepid explorers should seek it out to unravel the cryptic message encoded in the crystal skull, a conduit to the history of our extra-terrestrial ancestors. Beware the journey is treacherous but worth the effort to discover the truth.
If approaching fluidly from Waterline Trail, branch off at Waypoint "X" heading west; if approaching wisely from Owl Trail, branch off at Waypoint "Y", heading South-East. Both branches will circuitously lead to Waypoint "Z", a nexus between courage and wisdom . From here, travel North about 65 meters to a fork in the road. At this junction, look north westerly towards the base of the twin hemlocks and all will be revealed. There are many routes to this sacred place, but only two are illuminated here.
