Wickeburg, Arizona has been known as the Dude Ranch Capital of the World. Many "dudes" come from all over the world to experience the uniqueness of Wickenburg. The term 'dude' was created in the 1870's by early Yellowstone Park Rangers to refer to any visitor that came from the East. Later the term evolved to mean any person who would come to a Ranch and pay money to play cowboy for awhile. Other than dudes you'll also find real cowboys, ropers, barrel racers, trail riders as well as many other interesting walks of life.
This Geocache has been hidden near a store where some of the above mentioned people come to help maintian their horses and live stock. Parking is available off the busy road on a gravel parking lot so please park accordingly. This is a rather high muggle area, however most of them are just driving by and won't even notice you. Terrain is very easy and the cache itself is about a 6" x 8" box. We've stocked it full of toys, knick knacks and even a decorated lucky horseshoe! $1 for FTF. Includes log book and pen.
