I wanted to make a series to highlight the places in Upshur County that people pass every day. So I set about to make a little Loop from Sago to Tenmile to Queens to Tallmansville and back to Buckhannon. This is to let you experience the things past and present the people don't notice as they drive by. Also this cash is perfectly flat for people and children with disabilities . It is easily accessible to everyone.
This was once one of the largest mines in West Virginia. All the area around where you're standing was stripped of coal.The ability of the earth to heal is amazing.The cache used to be in the old island creek mine sign but it has been reclaimed and we had tocmove it across the road. Please use caution and stealth as this is now more easily seen from both roads. The cache is also now a regular size. Under rock 15
