The History:
There is some very interesting history to be found in Northam. One of the more curious happenings is the last known address of Iva Jane Burrows.
Now this story has a sad side to it which I will not get into, but a quick google will give you more info if you want to know more. In my research I stopped past the shire office to ask for the location of Iva, Upon looking up the records the I received a very shocked reply that Iva had been exhumed!! and with no forwarding address.......
The so far unconfirmed local story regarding Iva's last known address, is that her husband exhumed her body from the cemetery, wrapped it in chains and moved it to unconsecrated ground.
Now I thought that this must have been rather difficult for Doc Burrows to do, so in keeping with this I have made this cache rather difficult to find.
(Well I think that it will be hard for you all to find but only time will tell
)
The Cache:
To find the cache make your way to the posted coordinates, there you will find a plaque, read the story and answer the following questions
Q1-What did Doc Burrows decorate his fence with (6 letter word)? , Q2-What was ridden into the shops (5 letter word)? Now convert the answers to numbers by adding the letters together, using their position in the alphabet to convert them to numbers first
Next you need to head on over to stage two
At Stage 2 you will find a plaque, add all the letters together, using their position in the alphabet to convert them to numbers first
Okay now that's done the cache is located at
S31 39. (stage2 times 2) plus Q1 minus Q2 plus 44)
E116 39. (stage 2 minus Q2 plus Q1 minus 25)
Let the fun begin - you are looking for a micro bison tube, located close to a walking trail, you will need to look very carefully at everything and take the terrain rating into consideration.
My GPSr is showing 3m at GZ
