Charles Adams Traditional Cache

Brandon’s first power trail featuring all the Mayors of the City.

Caches should all prove to be a fairly quick find on what we thought was a beautiful drive.  Hopefully you learn a little along the way as well.

Charles Adams was born on February 27, 1858 in Oxford County, Ontario.  He was in Oxford County and Dundas Collegiate Institute.  His father taught him how to make harnesses.  

Charles moved to Brandon in 1881.  He served as alderman and then as Mayor in 1887.  

Charles moved his Harness making business to Toronto and had branch offices in Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary.  He served as president and general manager of the company.
