The cache is located on a path near the Rogers Hydroelectric Powerhouse-owned and operated by Consumers Energy. Someone has taken the time to paint blue marks on the trees here. The funny thing is, they are only on the north(ish) side of the trees. The logbook is in a 6 oz Lock & Lock container - hidden in the usual way. It's pretty remote here, maybe I'll leave a clue your Geo-sense can pick-up on.
I was walking the dog and following the well marked path to the north. We reached the riverbank and I started to pick up trash. I hardly made a dent before my grocery bag was full. I noticed a small trail with blue-paint-marks on the trees. I decided to follow them. It took me out to the point, so I started looking for a fun place to leave a Geocache. Once I found a hiding spot, I went in search of the path again. I found a blue-mark on a tree and I was good to go. The way out was marked. Took me right to my car. Wear lots of bug spray. A little part of the trail is soggy but most is just pretty. This area is also fun in the winter.
