Geocache Description:

This is a small loop of caches, skirting Holden Wood reservoir. They will , often require a pen and tweezers for most. It's a great walk for dogs, but please keep on a lead as sheep are free to roam in this area. Expect mud even in a dry spell. It contains one steep accent, it's in no way dangerous but for me is a slog. I've named them after some of my favourite cheeses.

Cache 2 is accessible without going into the field on your left as you approach. Cheddar is the UK's most popular cheese, accounting for 51% of all cheese sales, over 262 000 tonnes is made here annually . It has no protected status , so therefore it can be produced anywhere , however only cheddar with milk from the 4 counties of SW England can use the name "West country Farmhouse Cheddar" In my opinion cheddar gets better with age , after 6 months large crystals of calcium lactate form, giving delicious crunchy bits.
