Geocache Description:

This is a small loop of caches, skirting Holden Wood reservoir. They will , often  require a pen and tweezers for most. It's a great walk for dogs, but please keep on a lead as sheep are free to roam in this area. Expect mud even in a dry spell. It contains one steep accent, it's in no way dangerous but  for me is a slog. I've named them after some of my favourite cheeses.

Continue along the footpath, the location of the next cache is in a small tunnel which can be seen from here. There are 3 varieties of Lancashire cheese, young creamy, tasty (made by traditional methods ) and crumbly, a more rec not creation for mass production. Beacon Fell Traditional Lancashire chees is a protected name, the name can only be used for cheese from milk from an area north of the River Ribble, including Fylde, Preston and Blackpool. My favourite is Grandma Singletons, it has a strong dark flavour with a smooth buttery texture. after this cahche, you will go right past WAM Top of the incline, plus there are many more caches on the hilltops
