Franklin Truman Williamson Traditional Cache

Brandon’s first power trail featuring all the Mayors of the City.

Caches should all prove to be a fairly quick find on what we thought was a beautiful drive.  Hopefully you learn a little along the way as well.

Franklin Truman Williamson (1897-1960)

"Frank" attended Central School and Collegiate in Brandon.  Afterwards he joined the family business - North West Pump Company.  In 1955 he sold the business.  He was a member of Kiwanis Club and the Brandon Chamber of Commerce.  He was the Mayor of Brandon from 1946 - 1951.

He moved to Alberta to work and retired in 1958.  He died in Calgary on September 7, 1960 and was buried in the Brandon Cemetery.
