Elwood Clinton Gorrie Traditional Cache

Brandon’s first power trail featuring all the Mayors of the City.

Caches should all prove to be a fairly quick find on what we thought was a beautiful drive.  Hopefully you learn a little along the way as well.

Elwood Clinton Gorrie (1915-2002)

Elwood was born on November 27, 2915 in Wawanesa, Manitoba.  He Chaired teh Brandon School Board from 1959 to 1960 and was President of the Manitoba Associaition of Urban Municipalities from 1976 to 1977.  Elwood was the Mayor of Brandon from 1975 to 1977.

He passed away in Brandon on July 3, 2002.
