Geocache Description:

This is the last of a short series of 6 caches about London’s Routemaster bus. The caches should be found in the correct order, but experience tells me that unlike the Routemasters, cachers are capable of taking short cuts. An Internet search will be required to find the necessary information.

As the Routemaster, with its open platform, was a hop-on hop-off bus, it is only fitting that all these 6 caches should offer cache and dash possibilities and be hidden along local bus routes to typify what these buses were all about. None of these caches will be hidden at bus stops, but all will be close to suitable parking places. As the Routemaster was not expected to be in public service beyond 20 years, each of these caches may be withdrawn, scrapped, or preserved when convenient, after approximately 20 finds. Some are still in public service after over 50 years, but don’t miss the bus.

Firstly, you will need to find the number of the Ensign hinted in cache RM5 and convert its original registration number into an eight digit number as in cache RM2 (ABCDEFGH).

Precede “who goes there?”. As a friend, amend the spelling in Norfolk to find the flyer, RM YYYY.

Calculate ABCDEFGH + YYYY to get ABCDPQRS

The cache can be found in the vicinity of

North  (SR+Q)  (DB+C).(CCR-PS)  East (AB-QC)  (PD-CC).(PRR+PBS)

You are looking for a custom built container. Bring your own pen and plucker.
