St Peter’s is the oldest church in Warwickshire, with a Saxon tower and crossing dating back to around 900.
There is no trace of the Saxon monastery, but earthworks mark the site of a later Norman Priory. The church includes mediaeval glass and wall painting, and some magnificent brasses, tombs and memorials.
A favourite with visitors to Stratford-upon-Avon, the church has a colourful exhibition which follows the fascinating story of a monastery and manor set in the Forest of Arden.
You are looking for a small vial, hidden where there is a great view of the Church.
