This is a tiny park, smaller than most suburbanites' backyards, but in the city, it's an oasis. To walk through this park would take about 10 seconds if you walked slowly, but it's s nice place to sit and contemplate traffic, or whatever else.
This park was named after Staff Sergeant James Finbar Collins, a WWII pilot whose plane was lost over the South China Seas on May 23, 1945. It is maintained by local volunteers. There aren't many green spaces in Allston, so even this postage-stamp sized park enhances the neighborhood! The cache is a magnetic nano. you do not need to actually enter the park to be able to find it.
