This is the third in our goodbye to Navarre series of caches. After living two blocks from here for almost twenty years we sold our house and started downsizing. During those twenty years, the neighborhood has changed significantly.
When we first moved here this area was actually a ball field with barely a back stop and huge open fields. Our kids played ball here all the time and somewhere in the surrounding treetops there may be the remains of the model rockets we launched here. Over the years the vacant lot was used for numerous community events including a rodeo and country music concert, but that was long before the current shopping center was built.
The cache is hidden close to where home plate had been. It is a camoed pill bottle.
