This is a special mystery cache laid to support the camping and Mardle event at Brampton Village Hall on 27th to 30th May 2016 (GC654QE). It is a chance for all the first to find fanatics to try to satisfy their cravings for an FTF and it is also a chance to bag a 5/1 cache of which there are not many about, assuming of course that you are clever enough to solve the puzzle. The cache will be open to everyone and five of my previously laid 100 mystery caches will contain a piece of information needed to help you solve MM1. Those five caches are listed in the paragraph below by way of clues, you simply have to recognise the caches from the clues, find them, collect the information therein, decode it and find the cache. However, be warned, in the interest of fair play, any occurrence of information gained from fellow cachers through threat, force, muggings or torture, when trying to solve this cache, will be investigated with thorough apathy. Be in no doubt that any perpetrators will be dealt with with the utmost of leniency.
I have found out about a lot of people through geocaching, some good, some bad, but as a group they will lead you to the Mardle mystery. There will be risk involved, as the likes of Robert Franklin Stroud and Robert Zimmerman may get you wet feet. But with the introductions of Charles Darrow and Garth Reeder the task becomes so much simpler. If it doesn’t, rest in peace.
The cache is not at the co-ordinates shown. From your search, equality will be in order and the five clues will give you a base to work from. So, you can keep a stiff upper lip or seek common directives instead. Hopefully you will find the cache within walking distance of the campsite. Solving this puzzle will probably require Internet access, it being useful to refer back to the cache details and to check your calculations.
In short, this is a typical trade mark Gameslaveian cache, in which numbers have to be found and re-calculated to find the necessary co-ordinates. However, I do consider it to be less of a grind than the five host caches as the final location offers no threatening foliage to combat or trees to conquer. You are looking for a custom built container but a form of scribing tool is recommended.
