Influence can be a powerful tool or a crack then can be exploited , the charms of a women can twist the thoughts of a man.
Mary Lead had caught ...nay CAPTURED !!! the heart of Captain Walker D Plank and at first was taken from her father's merchant ship against her will . She showed no emotion while her father was beaten , shot , and tossed over board by a hand full of Walker's men. It seems this now taken ship was carrying a wide variety of spirits ,wine ,and assorted furs, a pirates dream (besides gold that is )but Walker seemed unimpressed and couldn't take his eyes off the announced LADY Mary Lead. As he gazed at her from a plank lie away she was snatched up by a pirate who felt the cold steel of Walker's knife to the base of his neck almost immediately. This is when Mary noticed the young Captain was smittened with her.
After a few weeks on Walker's ship , free to go where ever she liked (where else could she go??) and after being involved in many many battles/take over Mary began liking the life of a pirate and it's Captain. She grew to giving commands of her own as she knew if they were denied that Captain Walker would deal nastily with the unlucky scoundrel. This seemed to be an unbeatable force.....or was it??
With confidence growing , so was the thought of many young strong pirates aboard , Mary caught her own attentions being drawn to a couple young pirates. Both Buccaneer Edward England
and Calico Jack Rackham fell to the charms of Mary. While sharing nights with all three men (some nights all three men on the same night ,separately of course , she is a LADY) she would use the heat of passion to mold these men to doing her bidding , giving them small tasks to see how she could influence them.
It wasn't long before parts off stolen bounty was being separated and hidden by her as she planned on leaving for the New World a very rich women. She slowly began manipulating each man to hate the other and it wasn't long before the men turned on each other. A mutiny in 1734 in late January was tried by "Calico Jack" Rackham and the loyalty to Captain Walker was strong enough to stop the mutineers. Captain Walker wanted the defiance tied bound and was set to have them walk the plank to drown in the sea like the dogs they are. Edward England was also caught on the wrong side and it was Mary that stepped in and persuaded Walker to take these men and drop them in a small boat with no supplies to fight each other till death came for them.
It was Edward that threatened Mary's life on revenge as the boat was dropped from the edge of the ratlines on the starboard side , the sudden drop had bodies slamming the bottom of the boat on impacted. Many men were injured on this tactic ,some brutally as these men screamed in pain Mary tossed her scarf to the boat below as a good bye gesture and turn to Captain Walker to show him he had done the right thing....or had he???
I warn thee stay away from any floating crafts on the horizon as now you not only have Walker to deal with but a boat full of Mutineers looking for a chance to get even with Walker and Lead and your vessel would be a key to that plan. Warned you we have.....
