Geocache Description:

I am relatively new to geocaching. I have under 40 finds to my name. My wife introduced me to it after coming back from visiting our daughter in Georgia. My daughter introduced to it, and now we go geocaching as often as time permits. Now I am introducing my 9 year-old grandson to geocaching. He loves doing it, probably because he is doing it with his grandparents, but I will take what I can get.

This is my first geocache hiding experience. I am doing it mostly because my grandson has been asking for this. If I can make him happy, then it is well worth the time. There is no great story behind this location, it is just easy for my grandson and I to keep an eye on it. It has easy access, and if you are paying attention, will be easy to find.

I chose a location on my own property, so there are no permission issues. There is some muggle traffic, as it is a residential neighborhood.

WARNING #1: There is no parking on the east side of the street on Tuesdays between 12-2pm and there is no parking on the west side of the street on Mondays between 12-2pm. The parking nazis are chomping at the bit to give out tickets.

WARNING #2: Stay away from the cacti, they can get a bit prickly. The cache is not hiding there anyway.

I custom made my own log with room for the FTF to sign their name, but bring your own pencil. I added a new deck of cards (as I am a tabletop game junkie) and my grandson added a superball from his toy chest. This is a good-sized container, and you may be surprised as to where I put it. Don't try too hard removing the container, just remove lid and grab the ziplock bag inside.
