Geocache Description:

This is a letterbox cache - you must follow the directions to the cache.

Please do not take the stamp or ink pad - these are part of the letterbox. Letterboxing is an intriguing pastime combining artistic ability with delightful “treasure-hunts”. Participants seek out hidden letterboxes by following clues, and then record their discovery in their personal journal with the help of a rubber stamp that’s part of the letterbox. In addition, letterboxers have their own personal stamps which they use to stamp into the letterbox’s logbook.

Three fishes’ great escape – almost!

From ground zero, on a hill you will see the three large white contraptions behind the fence. This is where the three fish made their breakout. They headed down the hill and were spotted heading down a road in an easterly direction. Unfortunately for the fish, they only made it about a hundred meters down the road before being stopped by a massive spruce tree nearest the road.

This massive spruce tree was impossible to miss as it stood proud beside its deciduous neighbors. Once you approach the mighty spruce, you will see that it is guarding the fallen remains of its equally massive brother located fifteen meters behind it. The three fish in their failed attempt to make it to the lake are resting peacefully with the stump of the mighty spruce’s fallen brother.
