Geocache Description:

A hand made cache designed to blend into the surroundings.

Tree cover will affect your GPS. Use the description and follow the public footpath through the valley until you come to a very unusual feature. You might like to rest a while here too.

The signed public footpath starts from the entrance gates to Hafodunos Hall. Please do not park in the gateway. The path is often muddy so can be slippy. Appropriate footwear and supervision of children is recommended.

The footpath soon leaves the main driveway and continues up the valley next to the water. Keep going and you will eventually cross a wooden bridge before zigzagging upwards. Look out for a very unusual feature and then use the hint if there is too much tree cover for an accurate GPS signal.

Sit here and enjoy the area. There are all sorts of things to observe - birds, flowers, trees and even rocks.

There is a new trackable and Welsh slate keyring for the First to Find. There are some fun items too.

Please feel free to collect any litter.

Co-ordinates have been averaged over a number of visits but the trees are growing fast.
