Geocache Description:

A fun, easy find outside an important Museum.

Placed with permission from the Museum of Native American History.

This is a classic cache container in a landmark Bentonville location. It should be an easy find for the whole family, so bring the kids! However, make sure and watch for muggles as this is a pretty busy area. I had the chance to visit this museum for the first time the other day, and was amazed at what it had to offer. It's truly an incredible part of Bentonville that deserves more traffic and credit! I was even more surprised to find that there wasn't a geocache here, so the purpose of this cache is to both pinpoint an important place as well as encourage gaining knowledge of America's native history, plus give the family another thing to do when visiting the museum!

The curator and director were very grateful for us thinking about them enough to place a cache here and are so excited about it. That being said, please be respectful to them and the grounds by refraining from visiting the cache late at night -- (there are security cameras!) Additionally, this cache is placed in the landscaping a bit so just be very cautious to avoid stepping on plants when you walk back to get it.

In the cache, you'll find a friend, Yona the Bear! Feel free to post pics with Yona. smiley

Original contents:

  • Arrowhead from Sahara Desert
  • Bird Whistle
  • Pinball game
  • My Lucky Penny

Happy caching!

Congrats to Sanders_Sooners on his 58th FTF!
