Geocache Description:

When I was a child, this use to be a very busy and popular beach. On Canada day, the park use to be filled with patrons, vendors, and many activities to enjoy. In the evening, fireworks would be lit on the opposing shoreline, while the community gathered to view the spectacular light-show in the sky. This was one of my favorite (and more popular) spot to sit and watch them. Now, this beach is hardly used, and is more known for it's fishing.
