This is the fourth cache in the Water, Water Everywhere series. Enjoy a leisurely stroll from cache to cache and admire the wonderful ocean views of this beautiful part of the world.
The walk will also take you past caches hidden by The3aRingos so make sure you take the time to find those as well.
Geoson calls this area ‘No mans land’ as it sits between the Welcome to Cannonvale and Welcome to Airlie Beach signs so he is not sure where he is when we are passing through. The cache is located near the footpath that takes you over the hill from Airlie Beach to Cannonvale. The road is always busy with traffic so if you have geokids make sure you keep a close eye on them. Don’t park on the hill as it can be dangerous when pulling back into the traffic, rather park at the location in the waypoints. As always be mindful of mugglers both driving and walking past. Don't forget to bring a pen and take care when returning the cache to make sure it goes back in the same spot. You will be treated to more beautiful views out over Abell Point Marina from this location. We hope you enjoy your time exploring this beautiful place. Tropical Cyclone Debbie destroyed the original cache hide so the cache has been changed to a completely different style, however the location is in the same area. Even if you have found this one before you might enjoy the challenge of finding the new cache, plus the view is even better now! Please ensure the cache is replaced where found and in the same position.
