Geocache Description:

FIELD PUZZLE-YOU NEED TO THINK A LITTLE

This is Western Foothills Land Trust property. The trail loop rests within approximately 150 acres of the 1,236-acre property.

The trailhead and parking area located in a quiet area off Sodom Road in Buckfield. The two mile loop trail has a mechanically prepared tread surface with a width of about four feet, which allows two people to walk abreast.

The kids and I wanted to make some different caches.  This one is best approached if you walk the trail  counter-clockwise--otherwise you will backtrack between stages.   Some of the caches are 40-60 feet off the trail so ensure muggles don't find them. This is a 2 stage multi.  Go to stage one to solve an easy field puzzle that will point you in the correct direction to the final.

A bullseye is associated with two games: Archery and darts. This one uses a bow and arrow. Remember- an arrow only travels in a straight line. My high school geometry teacher told me that you only need two points to create a line. This arrow only need to travel __109__ feet to get to the cache. Have fun.
