The walk is dog friendly (apart from the last stile) but they will need to be on a lead where animals are present in the fields. There is one part that is on a quiet road.
Look out for horses, pigs, sheep, and alpacas. If you are really lucky, you might see an owl too as I did when walking the route in the evening.
Through the garden, push button to open gate and push button to close gate behind you, turn left up the lane.
