"Maquoketa River Cleanup


"After CITO" Event"
Saturday June 11th, 2016 5pm- 7pm


After all the CITO events are over we will take a break and enjoy the evening around a campfire. There will be door prizes to give away, fixins for s'mores, ptcline's Famous Root Beer Floats, and plenty of stories to be told.

Please bring your own folding chair if you would like to sit by the fire or relax and watch the river go by.

to cook on the fire The fire will be available if you want to cook your supper while you're there.


♦ Door Prizes


Each person attending any of the River CITO Events will be eligible to win a door prize from the drawing at the "After CITO Event". It is not necessary to be present at the "After CITO Event" to win a door prize.



♦ Campfire


We will have a camp fire to enjoy at the event site. -Everyone is welcome to bring anything they would like to cook on the fire, as long as it will fit on a stick.



♦ S'mores


I will be providing the fixins and sticks for roasting marshmallows and making S'mores.



♦ ptcline’s Famous Root Beer Floats


Will be serving up some cold refreshing root beer floats. -A quote from Robin about her Famous Root Beer Floats: “Nothing famous about them, but they always hit the spot!”





CITO Schedule for Saturday, June 11th 2016

12:00pm-1:00pm Canton County Park

1:00pm-2:00pm Millertown Access

2:00pm-3:00pm Royertown Access

3:00pm-3:30pm Chenelworth Access

3:30pm-4:00pm Morehead Access

4:00pm-4:30pm Joinerville County Park

5:00pm-7:pm After CITO Event

Mark the date on your calendar. You can attend any or all of the scheduled events.




* The access is along the river and can be wet and muddy, so wear appropriate clothing and bring a pair of gloves or your favorite trash pick up TOTT.

* Trash bags will be provided.


Please remember that all caches in the Jackson County Conservation Areas are CITO locations.
