Geocache Description:

Another cache in the Westside series. Maybe a starting point for a little Mountain bike adventure. The cache is a camo, and out in the open for everyone to see. Access is by bike, car or on foot.

Thanks to cacher Hurleybird for allowing me to add on to his Westside Series.

Following on from the Westside Series: Commitment cache, this is placed with a different kind of commitment in mind. Whereas the Commitment cache tests your mettle riding down, this one is the starting point for a test going up. The cache is at the bottom of the Scotia Creek trail, an old logging road. It's not very long, only 800 meters, but climbs 123 vertical meters at an average of 14%. Consider yourself in good shape if you can make it to the top without stopping. This is a shortcut to the other Westside series caches and the trails around stonebridge, rather than riding up the paved road.

If, after making this find, you haven't got the legs for the rest of the climb, the trail Hot Rod Alley takes off to the right a couple of hundred meters up and contours across to the bottom of Whip Me, Snip Me.
