Aéroclub de Genève Traditional Cache

Swiss 2 2 bravo, wind calm, runway 05, clear for takeoff!

As you can imagine, this cache is situated close to Geneva Airport, more specifically on the west side. On your way to the Aéroclub you will then have the chance to see planes taking off and landing. However, the calm and green surroundings compensate the hectic and stressful atmosphere that normally airports have around them. Have fun and enjoy the experience!

You need two things to fully profit from the Geneva Aeroclub: passion for planes and plenty of money. However, if you happen to only have the former, then this spot is still good for you as next to the entrance of the club there's a bistro with a nice terrace facing the runway of the airport where you can sit down, have a drink and look at the aircraft movements. Enjoy the environment, sign the logbook and give yourself some time to sit down, relax and give some landing clearances to incoming aircraft if you'd like :)
