This cache is part of the 'Spooked' series, a series of caches at creepy feeling or supposedly haunted places. Obviously you don't need to believe in ghosts to be able to enjoy the caches.
A few hundred years ago Monks from Beauchief Abbey in Sheffield used to walk from the abbey to Harewood Grange, about a 100 yards from here. There have been several sightings of monks here in recent times, most are around the grange but some have been seen walking along the road. Someone who lives in a nearby farm has told methat they have discovered tunnels going under there house and there land after lifting a manhole cover under a hollybush in their front garden. They have also mentioned ghosts and spooky goingson happeningaround the farm, and strange noises underground at times too.
A small pot with room for swaps and TBs hidden by a gateway, no pen BYOP. Parking available but please be respectful. It is lovely down here in the day but I dare you to visit at night! Please repalce the cache as found with the contents in a plastic bag complete with stickouflage, the cache is not in the wall.
If you are attempting 'Spooked - 7 Beeley and Holy Moors' there is a boundary stone up the road from here where you need to get some of your information from.
