To the south of the village of El Cotillo lies the magical beach known locally as Surfers beach. It may not be the prettiest beach on Fuerteventura but it can be one of the wildest when the winter storms lash the west coast. Because of this it is constantly changing. At the furthest southern end of the beach is a small wooden bench where you can sit and enjoy the view. This is a wishing bench. When you find the cache, take a wishing bell, sit on the bench, look at the view, relax. Now close your eyes, listen to the waves, feel the wind on your face and make your wish.
