Geocache Description:

This is a cache located at a church in Hubbard, Texas. One of many that I pastored before retiring in 2010.  It is a part of a series entitled Significant Churches #_____________.

Please note: this is no longer a magnetic key holder. After a recent visit it was discovered that the original cache and container was missing.

The First United Methodist Church of Hubbard was founded in 1882. Its current sanctuary built on the site of the original church was completed in 1911.  The building features a full basement and a hand cranked raise-able  wall that when additonal space is needed the whole wall raises into the attic.  FUMC Hubbard seeks to provide a significant ministry to the community through outreach and involvement, worship and fellowship. It also takes an active role in the Hubbard Minsterial Alliance

My wife I were privileged to pastor this Church from June of 2006 until June of 2009.

The cache is a common item, but not..... Bring Your Own Pen and have fun and Happy Caching!!!
