This geocache is placed at the beginning of a popular local trail. There are other geocaches along this trail, so enjoy the walk and add a few more caches to your finds. This trail is called the Boy Scout camp trail as it leads to a camp area used by local scouts. Please be mindful of their use of the camp and lodge, and pay attention to the signs they post asking you to keep out of their area. Meanwhile there are plenty of other places along the trail that are open to everyone: meadows full of wildflowers, sandy beaches, birding areas, and the confluence of the Eagle and Herbert rivers.
The cache is a small plastic bottle with cammo tape disguise. It has enough room for small swag items and travel bugs. Enjoy, and please make sure to close the lid tightly to keep water out. There is a small prize for FTF.
