Welcome to beautiful Kelly Lake Park. This six-acre man made lake started as a gravel pit, a by-product of I-69 when it was routed through the area in the early 1970s. The park surrounding the lake was opened to the public Oct. 18, 2000.
While you're here be sure to take in nature. I've seen large fish, turtles, frogs, bunnies, various birds and of course plenty of Canada Geese. Enjoy!
Park closes at 9PM
Though Ive done this in flip flops, Shoes that can get a bit muddy are recommended.
