I saw a cache like this in Plano once, but didn't have the opportunity to actually acquire it. I've been looking for a good spot to place a similar hide, and this is it.
Thanks to tylercevans02 for helping with the hide, and for the Keller Police Officer that stopped by to check on us as we were pulled over next to this sign at night, with TCE on top of the car looking quite suspicious. We told him that we were hiding a geocache, and he said "Okay - have a great evening!"
Here's the twist - you'll be able to walk up and see the container, maybe even touch it with your pinky. But getting it is a different matter entirely. Be careful of traffic nearby, and expect to make a couple of trips to log this one: One recon trip, and one or more visits with a crafty tool to get it. Log only, BYOP. You're looking for a blue bison tube.
NOTE: You ARE required to actually retrieve the container and sign the physical log to count this as a find. I am now (as of 3/21/17) requiring you submit a photo of the log with your geonic. Otherwise, your log entry will be removed. I've had a lot of people log simply "found it", but they didn't do the required work to get to it. Thank you for understanding!
Be sure to check out the Alliance Keller Area Geocachers (AKA Geocachers) group. We meet once a month in the Keller area to fellowship and discuss caching. For more info, visit our Facebook page .
