La cache se trouve sur les anciennes ruines de l'Anse Azérot à Sainte Marie et pour y aller : Sur la N1 entre Trinité et Sainte-Marie, à 2 kilomètres au sud du bourg de Sainte-Marie, tournez au niveau de Petite Rivière Salée, une petite route (0.6km) rejoint la mer à hauteur de l'Anse Azérot.( suivre le waypoint )
LE SITE :
Le charme de l'Anse Azérot réside aussi dans les nombreux vieux bâtiments en ruine, plus ou moins cachés par la végétation que l'on découvre en longeant la plage. Cette portion de côte faisabit partie de l'Habitation de l'Anse Azérot, un domaine créé à la fin du XVII ème siècle par le Père Labat, qui voyait sur ce bord de mer, la possibilité d'exploiter facilement des fours à chaux.
Très utilisée dans les domaines de l'industrie sucrière et de la construction, la chaux était en effet produite à partir de débris de coquillages comme le lambi. Plus tard, l'Habitation de l'Anse Azérot s'est tournée vers la production de sucre, puis de rhum, avant de péricliter à la fin de la deuxième guerre mondiale.
Vous pouvez voir les ruines de l'ancienne distillerie qui sont transformées en mur d'escalade, théâtre de plein air, ainsi que les ruines du four à chaux.
LA CACHE :
Une fois que vous arrivez sur le site en utilisant le parking prévu, la cache de petite taille est placée non loin. Faîtes preuve d'une grande discrétion et de précautions une fois sur le site suite aux nombreux baigneurs surtout le week-end.

THE SITE:
In the South of Sainte - Marie's village, the Anse Azérot is the last beach of the Atlantic north coast. Placed between the Pointe Martineau and Morne Battalion, it is the appointment of the inhabitants of the region. They here come to take advantage of a beautiful beach of fair sand, of the generous shade dispensed by the numerous coconut palms which line it, of zones fitted out for the picnic, and by a rather quiet stretch of water. The charm of the Anse Azérot also lives in the numerous old buildings in ruin, more or less hidden by the vegetation which we discover by following the beach. This portion of coast(rib) was a part of the House of the Anse Azérot, a domain created in the end of XVII ème century by Father Labat, who saw on this seaside, the possibility of exploiting(running) easily lime kilns. Very used in the domains of the sugar industry and the construction, the lime was indeed produced from fragment of shells as the lambi. Later, the House of the Anse Azérot turned to the production of sugar, then rum, before decaying at the end of the World War II.
You can see the ruins of the old distillery which are transformed into climbing wall, open-air theater, as well as the ruins of the lime kiln.
THE CACHE :
When you arrive on the site by using the parking lot planned, the small-sized hiding place is placed not far from. Summits proof of a big discretion and precautions once on the site further to the numerous swimmers especially the weekend.
