Geocache Description:

Watch your head on the prickles as you delve for the camouflaged clip-lock cache.

A group of cachers have gathered together to place caches along The Hertfordshire Way; a 194 mile circular route along public rights-of-way within the County of Hertfordshire. Rather than caches at every 0.1 mile we have tried to put together interesting hides.

Leg 4 stretches from Codicote to St. Albans for 12.6 miles. We advise that you bring sturdy boots for very muddy terrain and a high visibility vest with you because a couple of short sections require walking along the road.

To the Next Cache
You have a choice of paths here, but head downhill - to some wooden steps, cross the track and down another set of steps to the road. Turn left along the road and left again at the t-junction by the farm. In about 100 yards, take the right hand park beside Ayot Lodge - then climb the hill!
