Lough Muckno - Dead End Traditional Cache

This cache is placed on Lough Muckno using a kayak. Please note that Jet Skis and similar are not allowed on the Lough. This cache was placed by kayak and you will need something similar to access it. It should only be attempted while observing the usual safety precautions for water based activities.

Coordinates are provided for the nearest public slipway. There are picnic tables available there.

Warning

The coordinates may lead you to believe you can reach this from the nearby road without a boat/kayak. You might just but I doubt it. You also might just fall head first into the Lough. You have been warned.

The cache is a bit evil. Unlike most of the Muckno series it is not placed well above the waterline and is not visible (at least the container isn't) as you approach. It is a pretty small micro and is intended to be a more difficult find than the rest of the series. The DT reflects this but since I want my caches found there are hints you can decode if you want to make it easier.

Unlike the others in the series this cache is not tied in place so please be careful you don't drop it into the water. I would appreciate it if you would replace it as found.
