Under the deck on Fairy Lake Traditional Cache

GuelphHiker: Construction on the deck and surrounding area is ongoing and according to the signs won't be completed until sometime in 2021. Given the changes, I won't be able to replace the cache as it was so it seems appropriate to archive this now. Maybe a new cache can be placed here once the construction is completed. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

Fairy Lake is a beautiful location for a paddle on a summers day.  One can completely circumnavigate the entire lake at a leasurely rate in a couple of hours.

This cache is only conveniently accessed by canoe or kayak (motorized boats are not permitted on Fairy Lake) starting at the launch point listed in the additional waypoints. With a bit of careful manoeuvering, you can access this cache from your canoe or kayak.    It would be possible to access the cache by climbing and wading but this is not recommended.
