#7 Writtle to Widford Loop Traditional Cache

This cache is NOT accessible from the main road (A414).  It is designed to be accessible from the bridleway on the park side of the hedge.

We have put these caches down for the benefit of 1st Writtle Guides, who will be enjoying a geocaching evening this summer.  But everyone is welcome to find them too!  

This is a short loop of less than two miles, starting at Paradise Road playing fields in Writtle, where there is plenty of parking from 8 a.m. until 11.30 pm (no night caching please!)  Alternatively, you could park by the church at Widford where there are a few spaces - although not when there's a wedding!  The loop works just as well both ways around.

However, in winter there will be MUD and in summer there will be NETTLES - boots and long trousers essential - you have been warned!  Also, there are a few stiles and kissing gates so unfortunately not really buggy friendly.  One of the fields has ponies in it - they ignored us but be aware.
