Geocaching Challenge 2016

Aitkin County Land Department (ACLD) manages approximately 222,800 acres for Public Land. This geocache highlights one of the many great places in Aitkin County.

Sevey Ruffed Grouse Road is a collaborative wildlife project with the goal of improving habitat of edge species.  Forest Roads are “Working” roads; please use caution.

Geocaching Challenge 2016
In 2016, twenty four (24) geocaches were hidden to encourage you to explore Aitkin County Lands. All caches are new for 2016. A full listing can be found here:

Each cache has a different wooden nickel featuring a Bird of Minnesota. Please take just one. It is yours to keep! If you are adventurous enough, collect all twenty four (24) coins and bring them to the Land Office at 209 2nd Street, Aitkin, MN 56431 during normal business hours to receive a special wooden nickel and a prize (while supplies last). Challenge ends December 30, 2016@ 4:30pm.
