Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Harbert Road / Chikaming Nature Preserve parking lot area.  The Preserve is only open during Daylight hours.  Please stay on established trails until within 20 ft of cache. A graphic of the Harbert Road Preserve Trail system is available at the bottom of this cache page.

The Harbert Road / Chikaming Nature Preserve is a well maintained area with Woods, Wetlands and Meadow Areas.  It is common to see lots of Wildlife. There is a nice system of Hiking Trails.  In the spring it can be muddy.  Insect repellent will be desired throughout warm weather.  Thank you to the Chikaming Township Park Board and The Chikaming Open Lands Organization for their cooperation in allowing caches to be present in the preserve.
