Geocache Description:

This is a Challenge Cache (my first) which is published under the new guidelines for challenge caches released after May 2016. The cache is at the listed coordinates but do not sign the log if you haven't met the requirements of the challenge.

The aim of this cache is to encourage you to seek out caches with lots of Favourite Points. Favourite Points can be awarded for a unique or particularly clever hide, a great view from GZ, a tricky puzzle to solve, an interesting feature or piece of information discovered, or any variety of other things to do with the cache.

In order to qualify for this challenge cache you must have found ten caches where the total number of favourite points accrued exceeds 1000 points. That's an average of 100 points per cache. As with all new Challenge Caches, the CO must qualify for the cache or it will not be published and I was surprised to find how easy it was to meet the requirement without actually targeting caches with high numbers of FP's.

When you find a cache it may have some favourite points that have been awarded to it, the better the cache is (for a variety of reasons) the more favourite points it will have. Your 'Found' statistics page on Project-GC highlights the 10 caches you have found with the highest amount of favourite points. If the total number of favourite points of these 10 caches equals or exceeds 1000 points then you have qualified for this Challenge and can then find this cache and log it. An easier way to find out if you qualify for this cache is to use the Challenge Checker which has been designed to go to you Project-GC 'Found' statistics page and adds up the Favourite points for you and lets you know if you qualify for this Challenge. If you find you don't meet the requirements of this Challenge, you will need to target caches with high numbers of favourite points. I have asked finders to list their favourite cache in their log, so try reading some previous logs to get an idea of where to look.

You can use any cache you have found going back to the day you started geocaching to meet this challenge.

You must have qualified for this cache before finding and logging this Challenge cache. Note: there may be a slight delay from the time you log your last qualifying cache, to the time it shows up on your statistics page, but I will take this into consideration before deleting any logs that don't qualify.

There is no requirement to provide a list of your qualifying caches with your log. However if you wish to, you can capture a screen shot of your Challenge Checker result or the appropriate area of your Project-GC Statistics page and upload them as an image to your log like I have.

Credit goes to 'the Seagnoid' for creating the Challenge Checker,

PGC Checker

As part of you log please include the GC code of you most favourite cache. This may not be the one with the most favourite points, but the one that gave you the biggest buzz.
