My family has had a cabin at Grand Beach since before there was even a road out here. When my Grandpa was a child his family would have to ride the train out here. I grew up spending every weekend between May Long weekend and Thanksgiving weekend as well as my whole 2 months of summer holidays out here making memories. There haven't been many caches out here so I thought I would do something about it.
***NOTE*** The cache is located inside Grand Beach Provincial Park, you will need a Provincial Park Pass to get a motor vehicle into the park. There are many wild animals in the area and it is not unusual to see Deer, Foxes, Black Bears, and Wolves to name a few, please be wild animal smart. The area has a vast amount of Poison Ivy...watch where you're walking.
