Geocache Description:

A nice easy cache with some interesting facts

This cache lies about 6km north of the town of exmouth. Located near Naval Communication Station Harold E. Holt. This base was once owned and run by the US Navy and was treated as US soil insofar as even when you drove on base you had to change to the other side of the road! These days it is run by civillians and houses Australia's first military space radar (which you can see once you are at the cache) used for tracking "space junk" or aliens depending on who you ask.

The cache is located in the vicinity of an old submarine, if you peer through the window on the back of the submarine you will also see an old mini sub left over from the war and operation rimau https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Rimau
