When my mom was a visiting nurse in Baltimore, she went to some of the roughest neighborhoods, and the people looked out for her, because they knew from her uniform that she was there to help folks in need. But there was this one story she always told about the black pill. It was Grim Reaper-like. Someone comes and slips you the black pill and it's your time to go...
