The loop starts off in the picture postcard village of Shaldon and follows the estuary into Ringmore. It then climbs up onto the hills around the villages and affords some lovely views.
The walk is about 4 ½ miles long and starts off fairly flat with proper paths in and around the villages, but gets steep and very muddy at times when following the green lanes and the coastal path.
The loop contains a range of different containers, please be careful around Shaldon as this can be an area with a great deal of footfall and there will be plenty of prying eyes!
This is a new addition to the loop as I was conscious that there were considerable gaps between caches and although some gaps are not so easy to put an additional cache in, this site was begging for a cache to be placed. Be careful around GZ as it is alongside the golf course. By the time you get to number 12 then you are very much on the last lap...well done!
