This spot stands approximately a mile and a half, as the crow flies, from the Ohoopee River. As "going to the river" is a popular warm weather activity in this area, there have been, to be sure, many "hangovers" suffered by rivergoers after a day of fun splashing in the cool brown waters of the 'Hoopee. This is not that kind of hangover, although one might very well develop a headache while looking for this cache.
You are looking for a well-camouflaged lock 'n lock type of container that is slightly smaller than an ammo can. Original container contains a log book, pen, and some family-friendly swag. (Please trade up!) It is also large enough to function as a travel bug hotel. When finding the cache, please pay close attention and rehide it exactly as you found it...it might be helpful to snap a photo before you remove it from its place. And, as always, please reclose the cache securely before you go. :-)
This cache is located on the right of way, so please do not enter or go around the gate, as hunting does take place in the area behind the gate during season. There is an area to safely park within a few feet of the cache. Happy Caching!
Congratulations to 2Wolfes on being FTF!
