Geocache Description:

A small peanut butter jar located in a convenient spot just off the trail. There is room for TBs and tradeables, if you would like to leave any. Please bring your own pen to sign the log and please make sure the container is well hidden.

This is a supplemental cache to the DVFF series that you are likely here for. I placed this stand-alone cache as an acknowledgement of this hilly section of the trail. Amongst the trail running community the three hills here (you will be standing on the middle one) are called the three sisters. I don’t know where the name originates, but when you are running up them, there is a somewhat more impolite term, (other than ‘sisters’) that may come to mind.

In late May every year there, the Sulphur Springs trail race is held on these trails. There is a 100 mile event where participants must complete eight 20km loops and must run up the three sisters each time! Yikes! Isn't a nice hike to find some caches such a better idea? wink
